Puppy Information

All our puppies are lovingly reared and the upmost care is taken to ensure that each puppy is placed in responsible lifelong homes, prepared for the devoted loyalty bestowed upon them by these ancient guardians.

Foremost is to match the temperament and personality of each puppy with the expectations, requirements and household dog ownership experience of their new home.

Anatolians and Central Asians are highly intelligent, emotional dogs and require forever homes who will take the time to learn and understand them.

In return they will give you their devoted companionship and unwaivering loyalty and protection.

BREEDER ASSURANCE AND ADVICE

As a registered ANKC breeder and proud member of the Master Dog Breeders Association
all puppies go to their new homes with a health and temperament guarantee and ongoing breeder support.
Puppies are reared in a family environment and grow up socialised and familiar with other dogs, cats, chickens, cattle and horses, as well as experiencing veterinary visits, car travel and of course, plenty of human interaction.  We endeavour to give our puppies the best start in life, so that they may make the transition from baby puppy to loyal family guardian or astute stock guard with natural ease and affinity.
I encourage all those interested in an Anatolian or Central Asian, to take the time to come and meet the dogs, so they can get to know the dogs better and to enable them to decide if an Anatolian or Central Asian Shepherd is suitable for their family.
The Anatolian Shepherd Dog and Central Asian Shepherd Dog are long living healthy and hardy breeds, however individuals can be prone to Canine Hip Displaysia (CHD).  Therefore, all puppies should come from Hip Certified parents who have had their hips screened and passed for breeding, to reduce the risk of CHD occurring.
Canine Hip Displaysia (CHD) is a combination of both genetic and environmental factors, but getting a puppy from parents with Certified Hips and following the dietary advice from your breeder about how to feed and raise your puppy, greatly reduces the risk of HD occuring.
Please ensure that you ask the breeder about the Hip Certification of their dogs.

When deciding on homes for my puppies, my goal is for new homes and their puppy to be suitably matched and have a long, happy life together - primarily I want new homes to be the RIGHT homes, so that both puppy and its new family can share the marvels and special privilidge of the noble Anatolian Shepherd Dog and magnficent Central Asian Shepherd Dog.
